Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Trần Viet took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mai Quang Thanh during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 2nd minute, Mai Quang Thanh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Da Lat's Lê Thuy got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manchester Tran's Nguyễn Minh got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nguyễn Minh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Huỳnh Xuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Da Lat's goalkeeper Huỳnh Xuan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Đào Phuoc hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Nguyễn Minh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester Tran's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Minh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Manchester Tran's Trần Viet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Huỳnh Xuan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Manchester Tran's Nguyễn Thai got control of the ball when Lê Thuy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Huỳnh Xuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Minh, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. With a little luck, Manchester Tran's Nguyễn Thai got control of the ball when Lê Thuy tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 47 played minutes Manchester Tran got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Pham. With an all-out effort, Da Lat's Nguyễn Thai threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nguyễn Thi Ngoc, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nguyễn Thi Ngoc made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Bùi Tấn Dũng dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Huỳnh Xuan, 1-1. If Nguyễn Minh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nguyễn Thai. Nguyễn Thai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Nguyễn Minh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Huỳnh Xuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Manchester Tran got a freekick which was hit by Tạ Van Tai Em. In the 81st match minute, Manchester Tran was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Hong Minh to maneuver through the defense. Manchester Tran's Nguyễn Thai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lê Thuy in the 84th minute of play. Nguyễn Thai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Triệu Cuc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nguyễn Thai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lê Thuy in the 91st minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
