Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nguyễn Nguyet took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Nguyễn Tuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nguyễn Nguyet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nguyễn Nguyet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dương Khoi came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by bạc liêu's Trần Phong. But to his dismay, Trần Phong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nguyễn Nguyet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dương Khoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dương Khoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Trần Phong's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Tuan in the 25th minute of play forced bạc liêu's goalkeeper Triệu Nghiêm-Minh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Nguyễn Nguyet managed to get in a good position for a shot. bạc liêu's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Nguyet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dương Khoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 35 minutes, Nguyễn Hieu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the bạc liêu and the Tuyen Quang players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nguyễn Hieu hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. A collision led to Tuyen Quang getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Phan Xuan hit a great ball. Nguyễn Quang Thanh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nguyễn Cuc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Nguyễn Cuc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Triệu Nghiêm-Minh was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Dương Khoi made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Trần Phong sent off a good shot on target. Triệu Nghiêm-Minh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Cuc in the 59th minute of play. Tuyen Quang's Dương Khoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Nguyet in the 60th minute of play. bạc liêu's Triệu Nghiêm-Minh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Cuc in the 62nd minute of play. With a little luck, Tuyen Quang's Dương Khoi got control of the ball when Trần Phong tried to sneak it across the goal line. Trần Phong struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Dương Khoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for bạc liêu. Nguyễn Cuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Triệu Nghiêm-Minh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Thai kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Nguyễn Cuc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Tuyen Quang's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Nguyet came free, but Dương Khoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nguyễn Tuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Trần Phong during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, bạc liêu's Trần Phong got a free kick in the 86th minute. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Trần Phong got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dương Khoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Nguyet in the 95th minute of play. Tuyen Quang's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
