Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Đào Duc took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nguyễn Cuc struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Ngô Thien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tuyen Quang. Phạm Van Quyen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ngô Thien didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nguyễn Cuc went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Mui Ne's zone, Nguyễn Tuan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ngô Thien came out of the goal and Nguyễn Tuan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mui Ne's Ngô Thien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Tuan in the 16th minute of play. Đào Duc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nguyễn Cuc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nguyễn Cuc got free with Ngô Thien in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Phạm Van Quyen came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Mui Ne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phạm Van Quyen couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Trần Loc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lê Tu kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When Nguyễn Tuan came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Tuyen Quang fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nguyễn Tuan couldn't finish the play. Nguyễn Tuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ngô Thien having to interfere.
The wind increased when Nguyễn Tuan made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nguyễn Cuc in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ngô Thien prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nguyễn Tuan during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Đào Duc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Đào Duc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Dương Khoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phan Dung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dương Khoi having to interfere. Mui Ne's Phạm Van Quyen got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Nguyễn Cuc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tuyen Quang's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Cuc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ngô Thien breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tuyen Quang were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mui Ne for a fine match.
