Dong Xam's Trần Quang Thanh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Lien in the 10th minute of play. Trần Quang Thanh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ngô Huynh Duc, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. With a little luck, Dong Xam's Trần Quang Thanh got control of the ball when Nguyễn Diem tried to sneak it across the goal line.
