Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Garu FC's Trần Minh Phượng started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Đặng Thi Ngoc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Trần Phu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 3 minutes into the game, Lê Bien was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tuyen Quang's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garu FC the free kick. After 4 played minutes Tuyen Quang got a freekick which was hit by Lê Bien. Trần Phu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Đặng Duong in the 6th minute of play. Dương Cuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Trần Phu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Minh charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Minh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dương Cuc in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trần Phu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Đặng Duong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Phu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tuyen Quang's Lê Bien got a free kick in the 19th minute. Dương Van Tai Em fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Quang Thanh having to interfere. If Trần Minh Phượng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 33 minutes, Dương Cuc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tuyen Quang's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dương Cuc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nguyễn Quang Thanh made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Dương Van Tai Em sent off a good shot on target. Trần Minh Phượng had several of the Tuyen Quang's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Nguyễn Quang Thanh as he didn't even see the shot coming. Trần Minh Phượng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garu FC's Trần Phu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dương Cuc in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Garu FC's Nguyễn Minh got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dương Cuc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Garu FC's Trần Phu got control of the ball when Đặng Duong tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dương Van Tai Em fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Quang Thanh having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Garu FC's Dương Van Tai Em sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nguyễn Quang Thanh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Đặng Duong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dương Cuc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trần Minh Phượng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Quang Thanh having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Lê Bien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trần Minh Phượng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute Dương Van Tai Em shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Quang Thanh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Đặng Thi Ngoc hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Trần Minh Phượng made a precise shot to the right of Nguyễn Quang Thanh. Tuyen Quang's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. With a little luck, Garu FC's Trần Phu got control of the ball when Đặng Duong tried to sneak it across the goal line. Garu FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
