Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Trần Minh Phượng kicked off to start the match. Trần Phu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Nam in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Garu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Nam came free, but Trần Phu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nguyễn Thi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trần Minh Phượng in the 7th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Garu FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Trần Phu had in the 12thth minute some difficulties stopping Trần Thanh's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 13th minute HaTuFC were awarded a corner. Trần Thanh went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Nguyễn Lien to score against Trần Phu in Garu FC's goal. 1-0 after 13 minutes. Đoàn Minh hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute Nguyễn Nam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trần Phu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Garu FC's Trần Phu got control of the ball when Phạm Lien tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nguyễn Nam's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Trần Phu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Trần Phu was a little too slow when Nguyễn Nam got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. Phạm Lien succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 35th playminute. Dương Van Tai Em sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nguyễn Nam to strike the kick off in the second half. 66 minutes into the match, Garu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Phạm Lien came free, but Trần Phu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Nam in the 68th minute of play forced Garu FC's goalkeeper Trần Phu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trần Phu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phạm Lien in the 77th minute of the match. Trần Phu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nguyễn Nam's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. When HaTuFC's Lê Hong Minh in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garu FC's goalie prevented a goal. Trần Minh Phượng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nguyễn Thi having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Garu FC's Nguyễn Tấn Dũng got a free kick in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Lê Hong Minh managed to get in a good position for a shot. HaTuFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lê Hong Minh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trần Phu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Dương Van Tai Em came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Garu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dương Van Tai Em couldn't finish the play. Nguyễn Nam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The HaTuFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Garu FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
