Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Trần Minh Phượng made the kick off which started today's match. Nguyễn Chi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trần Minh Phượng in the 7th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Trần Minh Phượng reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nguyễn Chi. The goal made the score 1-0. After 14 minutes, Mai Minh Phượng mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kon Tum and the Garu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mai Minh Phượng hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Nguyễn Chuong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Trịnh Hoang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dương Van Tai Em got free with Nguyễn Chi in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 28 minutes, Trần Minh Phượng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trần Minh Phượng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nguyễn Minh kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Garu FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Kon Tum a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Trịnh Hoang, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Garu FC's Trần Phu. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Kon Tum's Huỳnh Dinh got a free kick in the 38th minute. Dương Van Tai Em received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Nguyễn Chi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Nguyễn Hoai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

56 minutes into the game, Dương Van Tai Em cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Nguyễn Chi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Huỳnh Dinh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Garu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Nga came free, but Trần Phu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trần Nguyets short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Trần Phu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Lê Nga sped through Garu FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Trần Phu. Nguyễn Chi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trần Minh Phượng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mai Minh Phượng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nguyễn Chi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dương Van Tai Em, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86th match minute, Garu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Minh to maneuver through the defense. Lê Hoa charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lê Hoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 88 played minutes Garu FC got a freekick which was hit by Lê Hoa. Kon Tum's Trịnh Hoang couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Garu FC. In the 92nd match minute, Garu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Chuong to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Kon Tum's corner Trịnh Hoang fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Trần Phu quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Garu FC had won after a very even match.
