Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nguyễn Khoi kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Dong Ha's Nguyễn Phong got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Hoàng Hung made an important save on a dangerous shot by Trần Tan in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Manchester's goal looked a bit too open when Trần Chuong came free, but Hoàng Hung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vũ Tran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Vũ Hoang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manchester's Trần Hong got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vũ Hoang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Khoi in the 24th minute of play. Nguyễn Khoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vũ Hoang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Hoàng Hung was a little too slow when Trần Chuong got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vũ Tran in the 32nd minute of play forced Dong Ha's goalkeeper Vũ Hoang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vũ Hoang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Khoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A hard shot 39 in the game by Trần Tan from a close distance when the talented Hoàng Hung managed to make a qualified save. Manchester's players were relieved. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Hoàng Hung successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hoàng Hung didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Trần Tan went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Trần Chuong to make the kick off. If Vũ Tran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Vũ Tran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hoàng Hung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trần Tan in the 63rd minute of the match. Trần Chuong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hoàng Hung read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Nguyễn Bien in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vũ Hoang, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nguyễn Khoi struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Vũ Hoang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester. Hoàng Hung came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Dong Ha's Trần Chuong. But to his dismay, Trần Chuong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Manchester's Vũ Tran got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hoàng Hung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trần Chuong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vũ Tran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vũ Hoang made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Trần Hong sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Manchester players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dong Ha.
