Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Đặng Duy kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Đặng Duy in the 4th minute of play forced Bắc Kạn's goalkeeper Phan Khoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Đặng Duy hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Đặng Duy was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Vinh Long's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. In the 7th match minute, Vinh Long was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phan Thi to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Trần Hoai in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trần Cuc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Đặng Duy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lâm Duc scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Phan Khoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Đặng Duy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vinh Long's supporters rose to their feet, but Đặng Duy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phan Khoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nghiêm Nhật Minh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nghiêm Nhật Minh got free with Trần Cuc in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nguyễn Tấn Dũng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phan Khoi having to interfere. Đặng Duy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Phan Khoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Trần Hoai made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nguyễn Tấn Dũng got free with Phan Khoi in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th match minute, Bắc Kạn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phạm Hoang to maneuver through the defense. Lê Hong kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Nguyễn Tấn Dũng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Phan Khoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Đặng Duy came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Vinh Long fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Đặng Duy couldn't finish the play. Nguyễn Tấn Dũng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Đặng Duy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Đặng Duy in the 89th minute of play forced Bắc Kạn's goalkeeper Phan Khoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nguyễn Xuan kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Vinh Long's Nguyễn Tấn Dũng got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Phan Khoi made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Nguyễn Tấn Dũng sent off a good shot on target.
