Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nguyễn Nam took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Nguyễn Huỳnh took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lâm Thi to make any attempt to save it. 9 minutes into the match, Phu Ly's goal looked a bit too open when Vũ Viet came free, but Nguyễn Nga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nguyễn Tuan might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lâm Thi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nguyễn Tuan ran back to his position shaking his head. Lâm Thi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Huỳnh, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. With a little luck, Nam Dinh's Lâm Thi got control of the ball when Phạm Nhật Minh tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute, Nguyễn Nam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nam Dinh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 30 minutes into the match, Nam Dinh's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Huỳnh came free, but Lâm Thi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Phu Ly's Nguyễn Huỳnh ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lâm Thi. Lâm Thi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Nguyễn Nga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Nam, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 36 played minutes Phu Ly got a freekick which was hit by Phạm Pham. After a defensive mix-up in Phu Ly's zone, Hoàng Nguyet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nguyễn Nga came out of the goal and Hoàng Nguyet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nguyễn Huỳnh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lâm Thi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Nam in the 45th minute of play forced Phu Ly's goalkeeper Nguyễn Nga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nguyễn Nam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Nguyễn Nga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nguyễn Huỳnh to make the kick off. Nguyễn Nam charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Nam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nguyễn Nam kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Nguyễn Lan hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Nam Dinh's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Huỳnh came free, but Lâm Thi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Huỳnh Thai fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nam Dinh's protests and gave Huỳnh Thai a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Huỳnh Thai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nguyễn Tuan missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 59 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Lâm Thi right hand side. Nguyễn Lan kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Lâm Thi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phạm Nhật Minh in the 65th minute of play. Vũ Van Tai Em kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Trần Anh Hung shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lâm Thi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nguyễn Nam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Phu Ly's zone, Hoàng Nguyet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nguyễn Nga came out of the goal and Hoàng Nguyet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the match, Nam Dinh's Nguyễn Nam sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nguyễn Nga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hoàng Nguyet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hoàng Nguyet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Tuan kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Nguyễn Nga was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Trần Nam. Hoàng Nguyet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Phạm Nhật Minh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Phu Ly's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
