Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lê Phuong got the match started through his kick off. Nguyễn Tuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Phong having to interfere. Lê Lam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Nguyễn Phong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Phong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lê Lam went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 10 minutes into the match, Quang Ninh's Lê Phuong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ngô Tu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Nguyễn Phuc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ngô Tu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lê Phuong in the 23rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Lai Chau's Ngô Tu got control of the ball when Nguyễn Lan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nguyễn Lan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ngô Tu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lê Phuong in the 31st minute of play forced Lai Chau's goalkeeper Ngô Tu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nguyễn Lan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ngô Tu having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Quang Ninh's Lê Phuong dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Nguyễn Phuc charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Phuc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nguyễn Phuc hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Lai Chau's Ngô Tu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lê Phuong in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lê Lam stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ngô Tu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Lan in the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Bùi Tuyet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Quang Ninh getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Nguyễn Lan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lê Phuong in the 70th minute of play forced Lai Chau's goalkeeper Ngô Tu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ngô Tu came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Quang Ninh's Nguyễn Lan. But to his dismay, Nguyễn Lan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Lai Chau's Ngô Tu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Lan in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Lê Lam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Phong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Lai Chau's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Phuong came free, but Ngô Tu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lê Lam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nguyễn Phong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Quang Ninh's zone, Lê Lam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nguyễn Phong came out of the goal and Lê Lam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quang Ninh's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
