Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Trần Tuyet made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 8 minutes, Lưu Nam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hoa Binh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lưu Nam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hoa Binh's zone, Hoàng Minh Phượng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liễu Binh came out of the goal and Hoàng Minh Phượng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hoa Binh fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Hoa Binh:s Liễu Binh showed great skill when he stopped Lâm Tu:s penalty. Liễu Binh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hoàng Minh Phượng, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Trần Bien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Hoa Binh's zone, Hoàng Minh Phượng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liễu Binh came out of the goal and Hoàng Minh Phượng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lưu Lan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liễu Binh having to interfere. Hoa Binh's Liễu Binh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lưu Lan in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trần Tuyet in the 43rd minute of play forced Tuy Hoa's goalkeeper Dương Tho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lưu Lan made a kick off. Nguyễn Tinh scored 1-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Liễu Binh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dương Tho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trần Tuyet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Bùi Lien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Hoa Binh's Trần Tuyet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dương Tho. That made the score 1-1 after 57 minutes of play. With an all-out effort, Hoa Binh's Dương Tho threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Trần Tuyet, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 67 minutes into the match, Hoa Binh's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Tinh came free, but Liễu Binh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Hoa Binh's Lưu Nam dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 75th minute, Võ Thi Ngoc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the game, Trần Tuyet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dương Tho. Trần Tuyet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Lưu Lan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Liễu Binh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lưu Lan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lưu Lan in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Liễu Binh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Hoa Binh's Vũ Tong got a free kick in the 91st minute. Lưu Lan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hoa Binh walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
