Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Trần Ho made the kick off which started today's match. Võ Tho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Kon Tum getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Phan Dung hit a great ball. Trần Hung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Bắc Giang's Nghiêm Huỳnh got control of the ball when Lê Thien tried to sneak it across the goal line. Trần Than kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Trần Hung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Văn Van Quyen having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nguyễn Liem in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nghiêm Huỳnh saved Bắc Giang from getting behind. Nguyễn Liem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Nghiêm Huỳnh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nguyễn Liem got free with Nghiêm Huỳnh in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Trần Hung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nghiêm Huỳnh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Liem in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Bắc Giang getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Đặng Bay hit a great ball. Nguyễn Liem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nghiêm Huỳnh having to interfere. Võ Tho kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Nguyễn Bien, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lê Thien got free with Nghiêm Huỳnh in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nguyễn Liem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nguyễn Liem to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Bắc Giang's zone, Lê Thien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nghiêm Huỳnh came out of the goal and Lê Thien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Lê Thien came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Kon Tum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lê Thien couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, Bắc Giang's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Thien came free, but Nghiêm Huỳnh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Văn Van Quyen was a little too slow when Trần Ho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-1. If Trần Hung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Kon Tum getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Phan Dung hit a great ball. Văn Van Quyen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Võ Tho in the 70th minute of the match. When Lê Thien came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Kon Tum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lê Thien couldn't finish the play. Trần Than kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Trần Hung's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Văn Van Quyen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Văn Van Quyen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Trần Ho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 79 minute of play. Trần Hung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Văn Van Quyen having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Bắc Giang's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Thien came free, but Nghiêm Huỳnh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Nguyễn Minh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Trần Ho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nghiêm Huỳnh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Liem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nghiêm Huỳnh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lê Thien, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bắc Giang walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
