In the 57thth minute of the game Nguyễn Tu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hoa Binh's Liễu Binh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Hoa Binh's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Tu came free, but Liễu Binh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Hoa Binh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vũ Tong to maneuver through the defense. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the referee blew the final whistle, Binh Duong could leave the field as winners, despite Hoa Binh having more of the ball for most of the match.
