Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nguyễn Huynh Duc got the match started through his kick off. Lê Dinh hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. If Nguyễn Huynh Duc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nguyễn Tran during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nguyễn Tran kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Hoàng Tấn Dũng managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hoàng Tấn Dũng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Nguyễn Quang Thanh made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nguyễn Thi to make the kick off. Nha Trang's Nguyễn Quang Thanh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Thi in the 52nd minute of play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 53rd minute, but Trịnh Dong got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Dong Hung hanging dry this time.
