Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Đỗ Phuoc kicked off to start the match. After 6 played minutes Long Tan got a freekick which was hit by Mai Loc. Huỳnh Hieu Ngan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Huỳnh Hieu Ngan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Đỗ Phuoc put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Nguyễn Lam. When Long Tan's Huỳnh Hieu Ngan in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bien Hoa's goalie prevented a goal. Nguyễn Quang Thanh kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Lê Minh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Thi Ngoc, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lê Minh came out and tried to block the shot, but Nguyễn Thi Ngoc slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 25th minute. Lê Minh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Thi Ngoc, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Nguyễn Cong Vinh in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lê Minh, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 42nd minute, Nguyễn Cong Vinh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bien Hoa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nguyễn Thi Ngoc to make the kick off. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Long Tan's Đỗ Phuoc in the 55th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Nguyễn Lam was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Bien Hoa through an amazing save. Đỗ Phuoc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Lam having to interfere. Huỳnh Hieu Ngan had several of the Bien Hoa's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 59 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-3 score and a disappointed Nguyễn Lam as he didn't even see the shot coming. Long Tan's Văn Thi Ngoc shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nguyễn Lam but with some difficulty. 66 minutes into the match, Bien Hoa's goal looked a bit too open when Đỗ Phuoc came free, but Nguyễn Lam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Nguyễn Cong Vinh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bien Hoa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Cong Vinh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nguyễn Cong Vinh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Lê Minh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Đỗ Phuoc in the 92nd minute of play forced Bien Hoa's goalkeeper Nguyễn Lam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Nguyễn Thi Ngoc left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bien Hoa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Long Tan players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bien Hoa.
