Hoàng Tho came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Toiyeuhoahoc's Lê Quang Thanh. But to his dismay, Lê Quang Thanh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, haohan's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Hoai came free, but Hoàng Tho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Nguyễn Nam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Phan Hieu Ngan fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Lê Hoai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd match minute, haohan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Thai to maneuver through the defense. Lê Quang Thanh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hoàng Tho having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Huỳnh Thanh Bình during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th match minute, haohan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Huỳnh Thanh Bình to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lê Quang Thanh in the 38th minute of play forced haohan's goalkeeper Hoàng Tho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hoàng Tho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Đinh Tan, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. If Huỳnh Thanh Bình had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Toiyeuhoahoc were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Huỳnh Thanh Bình to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Toiyeuhoahoc booed when haohan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lê Phong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hoàng Tho was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Đỗ Phuc. With a little luck, haohan's Hoàng Tho got control of the ball when Lê Quang Thanh tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, haohan's goal looked a bit too open when Đinh Tan came free, but Hoàng Tho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hoàng Tho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Đinh Tan in the 62nd minute of the match. A hard shot 64 in the game by Lê Quang Thanh from a close distance when the talented Hoàng Tho managed to make a qualified save. haohan's players were relieved. haohan's Huỳnh Thanh Bình got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, haohan's goalkeeper Hoàng Tho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lê Quang Thanh. Huỳnh Thanh Bình recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Toiyeuhoahoc's goal looked a bit too open when Huỳnh Thanh Bình came free, but Trần Hung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Lê Quang Thanh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hoàng Tho. haohan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lê Quang Thanh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Lê Quang Thanh got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With his leg Hoàng Tho managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Toiyeuhoahoc's Lê Quang Thanh fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match was over Toiyeuhoahoc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than haohan throughout the match.
