Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 2 played minutes Vinh Yen got a freekick which was hit by Lê Dung. Tôn Quang Thanh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Nguyễn Phu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vinh Yen's Nguyễn Phu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tôn Quang Thanh in the 8th minute of play. Lê Dung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phan Hoang having to interfere. If Huỳnh Duc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tôn Quang Thanh struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Nguyễn Phu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lang Son. In the 15th minute Huỳnh Duc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Phu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Vinh Yen's Trần Hong slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Phan Hoang. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. Lê Dung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nghiêm Minh in the 22nd minute of play forced Lang Son's goalkeeper Phan Hoang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 27th minute, but Phan Hoang got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Lang Son hanging dry this time. Lang Son's Huỳnh Huynh Duc pulled a muscle in his leg after 33 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Trần Hong charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Trần Hong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Trần Hong hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Phan Hoang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nghiêm Minh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nguyễn Tấn Dũng during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Vinh Yen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Tấn Dũng to maneuver through the defense. The wind increased when Tôn Quang Thanh made the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute of the match, Tôn Quang Thanh got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nguyễn Phu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 64 minutes of play, Lang Son's Tôn Quang Thanh made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nguyễn Phu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Đào Huy's late challenge caught a Vinh Yen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Đào Huy helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, Lang Son was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Đào Huy to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Vinh Yen's Trần Phuc got a free kick in the 69th minute. Nguyễn Tho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nguyễn Phu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. With a little luck, Vinh Yen's Nguyễn Phu got control of the ball when Nguyễn Tho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lang Son's Tôn Quang Thanh got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nguyễn Tấn Dũng was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Nguyễn Tấn Dũng kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd match minute, Vinh Yen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phan Nga to maneuver through the defense. After 84 played minutes Lang Son got a freekick which was hit by Trần Tu. Trần Hong got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 88 played minutes Vinh Yen got a freekick which was hit by Trần Hong. The Lang Son players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Vinh Yen from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
