Võ Nguyet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Võ Nguyet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bùi Binh having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Võ Hoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nguyễn Van Tai Em might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bùi Binh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nguyễn Van Tai Em ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Phan Thiet getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Lê Duy hit a great ball. Nguyễn Van Tai Em blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bùi Binh having to make a save. 35 minutes into the game, Võ Nguyet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1.
