Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lê Teo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lê Dung in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vũ Tong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 5 minutes, Lê Teo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ha Long's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lê Teo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vũ Tong came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Phan Thiet's Võ Hoa. But to his dismay, Võ Hoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ha Long's Lê Teo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 11th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 14 minutes of play, Phan Thiet's Nguyễn Huynh Duc made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vũ Tong was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Võ Hoa in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vũ Tong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, Phan Thiet's Lê Duy broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Phan Thiet's Nguyễn Huynh Duc got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Võ Hoa scored 1-3 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vũ Tong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 33 minutes, Võ Hoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phan Thiet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Võ Hoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ha Long's Vũ Tong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Huynh Duc in the 39th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Lê Teo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
The wind increased when Võ Hoa made the kick off in the second half. Nguyễn Hung received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Bùi Binh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Hung in the 54th minute of play forced Phan Thiet's goalkeeper Bùi Binh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Lê Teo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bùi Binh was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. If Nguyễn Hung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th match minute, Phan Thiet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lê Dung to maneuver through the defense. Võ Hoa might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vũ Tong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Võ Hoa ran back to his position shaking his head. Võ Hoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Vũ Tong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bùi Binh came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Ha Long's Lê Teo. But to his dismay, Lê Teo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. In the 84th minute Võ Hoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vũ Tong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phan Thiet's Nguyễn Huynh Duc got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ha Long fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Võ Hoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Phan Thiet had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
