Nguyễn Duong was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nguyễn Phuong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nguyễn Tinh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Nguyễn Tinh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Phan Mai went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 27th match minute, Tuyen Quang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Phuc to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Nguyễn Phuong successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Tuyen Quang getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Phạm Dinh hit a great ball. Bac Kan's Võ Nguyet got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Võ Nguyet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Nguyễn Phuong when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Đoàn Minh during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tuyen Quang booed when Bac Kan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Đoàn Minh didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Phan Mai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Võ Nguyet was the one to do the kick off. Nguyễn Lien kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Nguyễn Phuong came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Tuyen Quang fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nguyễn Phuong couldn't finish the play. After 61 minutes of play, Tuyen Quang's Phan Mai made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nguyễn Tinh was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute, Nguyễn Phuc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bac Kan's Nguyễn Duong couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tuyen Quang. Nguyễn Van Tai Em sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Phan Mai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Tinh having to interfere. Bac Kan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Nguyễn Phuong scored to the left of an out of position Nguyễn Tinh, making the score, 1-4. When Nguyễn Phuc was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. In the 86th match minute, Tuyen Quang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Phuong to maneuver through the defense. Nguyễn Phuong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Van Tai Em, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Phuong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tuyen Quang's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bac Kan the free kick. Nguyễn Phuong kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Bac Kan's Võ Nguyet got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Bac Kan's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Phan Mai fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
