Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lê Teo made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 19th minute, Trương Huy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Phan Teo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Phan Thiet's supporters rose to their feet, but Phan Teo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vũ Tong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lê Teo in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nguyễn Lam saved Phan Thiet from getting behind. In the 28thth minute of the game Lê Teo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Phan Thiet's Nguyễn Lam was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Ha Long's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Than came free, but Vũ Tong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Ha Long's goal looked a bit too open when Phan Teo came free, but Vũ Tong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nguyễn Hung received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Nguyễn Lam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lê Teo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trương Huy was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 56th minute, Trương Huy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lê Teo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nguyễn Lam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Mai Thanh Bình shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Lam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nguyễn Hung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nguyễn Lam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Hung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Phan Thiet booed when Ha Long was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Hieu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nguyễn Lam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nguyễn Hung's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Nguyễn Than sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76th play minutes Nguyễn Than shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Vũ Tong and just under the crossbar into goal. After 82 played minutes Ha Long got a freekick which was hit by Hồ Van Tai Em. A hard and well directed shot from Nguyễn Nam led 83 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Ha Long's Vũ Tong became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-2. Mai Thanh Bình fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Lam having to interfere. Nguyễn Than sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Ha Long's goalkeeper Vũ Tong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nguyễn Than.
