When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nguyễn Viet made a kick off. If Nguyễn Viet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The referee ordered Đặng Tho off the ground. After 72 played minutes Qui Nhon got a freekick which was hit by Đặng Tho. Dương Teo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Viet in the 75th minute of the match. Qui Nhon's Dương Teo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chung Hieu in the 80th minute of play.
