Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lê Tu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nguyễn Tu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Tuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Nguyễn Viet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Nguyễn Than tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Ca Mau got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Hung. If Nguyễn Viet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chung Hieu's late challenge caught a Ca Mau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chung Hieu helped the player get up and apologised. Chung Hieu hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Viet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nguyễn Than tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Ca Mau's goalkeeper Nguyễn Than had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nguyễn Viet. Ca Mau's Nguyễn Than played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lê Tu in the 20th minute of play. Nguyễn Tuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Tu having to interfere. In the 29thth minute of the game Nguyễn Tuan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dak Lak's Nguyễn Tu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nguyễn Viet came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nguyễn Than could save by the left post. Nguyễn Viet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Than having to interfere. Nguyễn Viet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Nguyễn Hanh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Trần Tan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Dak Lak's Nguyễn Tu got control of the ball when Nguyễn Tuan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Lê Tu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nguyễn Than was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Nguyễn Tuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Nguyễn Tu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute of the match, Trần Tan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nguyễn Tu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 70th minute, Nguyễn Hung hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nguyễn Viet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Trần Tan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Tu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nguyễn Viet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nguyễn Than was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Dak Lak's Nguyễn Tu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trần Tan in the 80th minute of play. Nguyễn Minh-ha kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Trần Tan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Tu having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Nguyễn Hanh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 minutes Ca Mau's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Trần Xuan who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ca Mau's goalie and right to Chung Hieu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ca Mau's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 96th minute, Lê Tu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
