Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Võ Minh made the kick off and thus started the match. After 2 played minutes Vinh got a freekick which was hit by Trần Ho. In the 3rd minute Trần Bay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Thuy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Trần Bay in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nguyễn Thuy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vũ Nam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Thuy having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Vũ Nam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Qui Nhon's supporters rose to their feet, but Vũ Nam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Thuy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nguyễn Thuy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trần Bay, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 44th minute, Hoàng Nam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Qui Nhon's Nguyễn Dung got a free kick in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Dương Tho kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Qui Nhon's Dương Teo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Qui Nhon from getting a goal against them. Trần Bay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Thuy having to interfere. Vũ Nam succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. The Qui Nhon fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vinh had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
