Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vinh's Võ Minh started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nguyễn Bien in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nguyễn Thuy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lâm Quang scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nguyễn Thuy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Bien in the 14th minute of play forced Vinh's goalkeeper Nguyễn Thuy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinh were furious when Nguyễn Xuan was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 16 minutes into the game, one of Vinh:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Vinh's Võ Minh got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, New Generation Future's Phan Liem broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 29th match minute, Vinh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lê Huy to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes Vinh got a freekick which was hit by Hoàng Nam. 35 minutes into the game, Trần Ho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vinh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Generation Future the free kick. A collision led to Vinh getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Trần Ho hit a great ball. Lâm Quang scored 3-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nguyễn Thuy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nguyễn Thuy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Bien, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. With a little luck, Vinh's Nguyễn Thuy got control of the ball when Lâm Quang tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Vinh's zone, Lâm Quang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nguyễn Thuy came out of the goal and Lâm Quang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dương Tho charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dương Tho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dương Tho hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Bien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th match minute, Vinh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Hung to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute of the match Phan Liem sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nguyễn Thuy skillfully saved the ball. Lâm Quang took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nguyễn Thuy. New Generation Future's Lê Thuy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save New Generation Future from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute, Lâm Quang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th play minute Trần Nghiêm-Minh came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lê Thuy. 4-1. 91 minutes into the match, New Generation Future's Lâm Quang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nguyễn Thuy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 94 played minutes New Generation Future got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Lien. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Lâm Quang managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Generation Future's supporters rose to their feet, but Lâm Quang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Thuy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. New Generation Future's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
