Trần Quang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Phạm Chuong in the 20th minute. Đỗ Cuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Trần Quang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phan Huỳnh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trần Nam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute of the match Phạm Khoi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Phan Huỳnh skillfully saved the ball. Phạm Chuong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
