Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Tôn Bay got free with Nguyễn Cong Vinh in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. NAST FLC's Bùi Dung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Hieu Ngan in the 6th minute of play. NAST FLC's Trần Thuy got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute Hồ Chuong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bùi Dung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nguyễn Cong Vinh made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Tôn Bay sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Paris Saint-Iceland getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Nguyễn Van Quyen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trần Thuy in the 31st minute of play forced Paris Saint-Iceland's goalkeeper Nguyễn Cong Vinh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Paris Saint-Iceland's Nguyễn Van Quyen got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Tôn Bay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Trần Thuy took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Nguyễn Cong Vinh to make any attempt to save it. Paris Saint-Iceland's Hồ Chuong got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nguyễn Hieu Ngan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Bùi Dung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Hoai kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. NAST FLC's Tôn Bay got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nguyễn Hieu Ngan was the one to do the kick off. Paris Saint-Iceland's Nguyễn Cong Vinh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tôn Bay in the 59th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Lê Hieu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nguyễn Cong Vinh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trần Thuy in the 61st minute of the match. If Trần Thuy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Cong Vinh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Trần Thuy's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trần Thuy in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nguyễn Cong Vinh saved Paris Saint-Iceland from getting behind. In the 71st minute Trần Thuy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Cong Vinh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Hieu Ngan in the 73rd minute of play forced NAST FLC's goalkeeper Bùi Dung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Trần Thuy came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the NAST FLC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trần Thuy couldn't finish the play. The supporters of NAST FLC booed when Paris Saint-Iceland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Đỗ Thanh Bình didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nguyễn Tinh charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Tinh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nguyễn Van Quyen kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Nguyễn Cong Vinh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trần Thuy in the 91st minute of play. Tôn Bay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Trần Thuy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 94 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Hoai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paris Saint-Iceland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NAST FLC the free kick. The supporters of NAST FLC booed when Paris Saint-Iceland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Hoai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trần Thuy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. NAST FLC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Paris Saint-Iceland for a fine match.
