Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nguyễn Tong made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Nguyễn Tong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lê Hoang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Huy, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Trịnh Thien was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nguyễn Tong showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Trần Teo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Trịnh Thien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Tong, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Nguyễn Huy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nghe An's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Huy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lê Hoang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Tan in the 34th minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Trang Bang got a freekick which was hit by Trần Teo. A collision led to Trang Bang getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Chung Thuyet hit a great ball. Trần Thi Ngoc took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lê Hoang. Lê Hoang dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nguyễn Huy to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Trang Bang's Nguyễn Tong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Trịnh Thien narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Trang Bang's Lê Hoang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Huy in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Phạm Duong left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trang Bang fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Trần Teo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Chung Bien charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chung Bien the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nghe An getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Chung Bien hit a great ball. After 72 played minutes, Trang Bang's Chung Thuyet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Trịnh Thien came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Trang Bang reached it. If Nguyễn Tan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lê Hoang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Huy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Trần Nghiêm-Minh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 88 minutes, Lê Anh Hung managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nghe An's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lê Anh Hung was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nguyễn Tan struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Lê Hoang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nghe An. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nghe An's goalkeeper Trịnh Thien, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Nguyễn Tong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Trang Bang could leave the field as winners, despite Nghe An having more of the ball for most of the match.
