Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Phan Phong kicked off to start the match. Phan Phong scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bùi Dung, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bùi Dung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Đặng Ho in the 10th minute of play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Phan Rang-Thap Cham's goalkeeper Nguyễn Cuc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Tôn Bay took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Nguyễn Cuc to make any attempt to save it. Phan Phong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Phan Phong scored 1-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bùi Dung, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in NAST FLC's zone, Phan Phong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bùi Dung came out of the goal and Phan Phong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tôn Bay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tôn Bay to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of NAST FLC booed when Phan Rang-Thap Cham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lê Binh didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Lê Binh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phan Rang-Thap Cham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NAST FLC the free kick. After 56 played minutes Phan Rang-Thap Cham got a freekick which was hit by Lê Binh. Phan Rang-Thap Cham's Nguyễn Cuc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tôn Bay in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tôn Bay in the 71st minute of play forced Phan Rang-Thap Cham's goalkeeper Nguyễn Cuc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nguyễn Tinh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nguyễn Cuc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 79th minute Lý Van Quyen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Cuc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Phan Rang-Thap Cham's Phan Phong ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bùi Dung. Bùi Dung yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. The Phan Rang-Thap Cham players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
