Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nguyễn Hieu Ngan made the kick off which started today's match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Paris Saint-Iceland fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Nghe An. After 16 played minutes Paris Saint-Iceland got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Hoai. Nguyễn Cong Vinh made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Nguyễn Tan sent off a good shot on target. Hồ Chuong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trịnh Thien having to interfere. Nguyễn Hieu Ngan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Trịnh Thien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Nguyễn Huy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nghe An's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Huy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Cong Vinh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Paris Saint-Iceland's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nguyễn Tan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hồ Chuong in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trịnh Thien prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hồ Chuong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trịnh Thien having to interfere. Nguyễn Cong Vinh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Huy in the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Hieu Ngan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trịnh Thien. Nghe An's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nguyễn Hieu Ngan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 38th minute, Nguyễn Tan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nghe An fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 42nd minute Nguyễn Hoai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trịnh Thien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nguyễn Cong Vinh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Huy in the 44th minute of play. Nguyễn Hieu Ngan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Trịnh Thien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nguyễn Huy made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Nguyễn Tan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Cong Vinh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Nguyễn Van Quyen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lê Anh Hung, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Phan Cuc hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Trịnh Thien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hồ Chuong in the 64th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Hồ Chuong left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paris Saint-Iceland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Nguyễn Tan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nguyễn Cong Vinh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Hồ Chuong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trịnh Thien having to interfere. Hồ Chuong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nguyễn Cong Vinh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Tan, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Tan in the 95th minute of play forced Paris Saint-Iceland's goalkeeper Nguyễn Cong Vinh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nguyễn Cong Vinh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Tan in the 97th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
