Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nguyễn Tong to make the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Bùi Dung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bùi Dung having to interfere. Nguyễn Tuan Hoang hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in NAST FLC's zone, Nguyễn Thi Ngoc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bùi Dung came out of the goal and Nguyễn Thi Ngoc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Nguyễn Tong managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trang Bang's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Tong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bùi Dung breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trang Bang's Nguyễn Tong got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to NAST FLC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Nguyễn Tuan Hoang hit a great ball. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
