Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nguyễn Lam made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute, Nguyễn Lan made a precise shot to the right of Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh. Long Tan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phan Dung in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Nguyễn Lam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Lam in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Nguyễn Lam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Long Tan's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Lam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phan Thi Ngoc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 22 played minutes Long Tan got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Diem. 24 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Lam notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Long Tan's Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh. Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Lê Teo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. Nguyễn Lam might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After the first half Long Tan were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Phan Dung to make the kick off. Nguyễn Minh Phượng hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Long Tan's Lê Phong got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Lê Teo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Long Tan's Phan Thi Ngoc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nguyễn Lam in the 63rd minute. In the 73rd minute Nguyễn Lam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phan Thi Ngoc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Long Tan getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Lê Tu hit a great ball. Phan Thi Ngoc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Lam, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Long Tan's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
