With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trần Loc in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Đào Ho saved Son La from getting behind. Dong Son's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Trần Tran scored to the left of an out of position Nguyễn Anh Hung, making the score, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trần Tran in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nguyễn Anh Hung saved Dong Son from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trần Loc in the 15th minute of play forced Son La's goalkeeper Đào Ho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The nice shot from Bùi Viet in the 65thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Đào Ho had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post.
