Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nguyễn Duong kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Lizg's Nguyễn Quang Thanh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nguyễn Tho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lizg's Trần Phuong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Quang in the 6th minute of play. Lê Phuc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Tho having to interfere. The Lizg fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Lizg's Lê Phuc looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 18th minute, Trần Binh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes Lizg got a freekick which was hit by Phan Tong. The attack was good, but when Lý Nga in the 26th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Nguyễn Tho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Duong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Nguyễn Quang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trần Phuong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thai Binh's Nguyễn Tho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lê Phuc in the 31st minute of play. Nguyễn Duong took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nguyễn Tho. Nguyễn Tho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 36th minute, Nguyễn Duong made a precise shot to the right of Nguyễn Tho. Thai Binh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 38 played minutes Lizg got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Quang Thanh. If Lý Nga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Thai Binh's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Phuong came free, but Nguyễn Tho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lê Phuc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Nguyễn Duong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Thai Binh players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lizg were winning 0-3.
The wind increased when Nguyễn Quang made the kick off in the second half. Thai Binh's Nguyễn Tho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Thai Binh from getting a goal against them. In the 53rd minute Lizg were awarded a corner. Nguyễn Thuy went to the cornerflag to take it. If Nguyễn Cuc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thai Binh's Nguyễn Tho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Thai Binh from getting a goal against them. Trần Phuong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Quang, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Lizg's Lê Phuc got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th match minute, Lizg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Quang Thanh to maneuver through the defense. Nguyễn Tho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Duong in the 70th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lê Phuc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nguyễn Tho was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 78th match minute, Thai Binh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tôn Thai to maneuver through the defense. Nguyễn Duong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Quang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Trần Phuong was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Lizg supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lizg would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
