Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Phan Thanh Bình made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute of the match Phạm Cong Vinh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tạ Anh Hung skillfully saved the ball. In the 5th minute, one of MANCHESTER UNITED:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MANCHESTER UNITED. The referee gave Lao Bao a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Trần Hoang, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of MANCHESTER UNITED's Trần Phong. 1-0. Phạm Cong Vinh hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Trần Hoang was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 15 played minutes Lao Bao got a freekick which was hit by Trần Minh. In the 17th minute, Lê Tho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tạ Anh Hung was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 21stth minute of the game Phan Thanh Bình who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MANCHESTER UNITED's Trần Phong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Trần Phong was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Phan Thanh Bình capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Phan Thanh Bình really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in MANCHESTER UNITED's zone, Trần Hoang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trần Phong came out of the goal and Trần Hoang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Lao Bao booed when MANCHESTER UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Loc didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Phan Thanh Bình managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lao Bao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Phan Thanh Bình was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Nguyễn Chuong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Chuong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Tạ Anh Hung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Lê Tho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MANCHESTER UNITED fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.

Trần Phong came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lao Bao's Phan Thanh Bình. But to his dismay, Phan Thanh Bình quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Nguyễn Chuong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trần Hoang scored 4-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trần Phong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th minute, Nguyễn Loc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nguyễn Chuong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tạ Anh Hung read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Tạ Anh Hung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lê Tho in the 77th minute of play. Trần Hoang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Trần Phong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Lê Tho managed to get in a good position for a shot. MANCHESTER UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Lê Tho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tạ Anh Hung breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 87 minutes, Nguyễn Loc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MANCHESTER UNITED and the Lao Bao players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th match minute, MANCHESTER UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Loc to maneuver through the defense. Nguyễn Chuong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lao Bao had won after a very even match.
