Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nguyễn Hieu Ngan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lê Loc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lâm Tho in the 4th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Hồ Huy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute of the match Phùng Tu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lê Loc skillfully saved the ball. A hard shot by Vương Hoa from long distance, 17 minutes into the match, got Nguyễn Huynh Duc's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lâm Tho was the one to do the kick off. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cheo Reo reached it. Huỳnh Thuy's late challenge caught a Ha Giang's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Huỳnh Thuy helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Võ Chi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cheo Reo's supporters rose to their feet, but Võ Chi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Huynh Duc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lâm Tho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Lê Loc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Lâm Tho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Hoàng Huỳnh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lê Loc having to interfere. Nguyễn Huynh Duc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Hieu Ngan, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Lê Loc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lâm Tho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phan Than's late challenge caught a Ha Giang's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ha Giang's Nguyễn Huynh Duc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Hieu Ngan in the 80th minute of play. Nguyễn Hieu Ngan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 played minutes Cheo Reo got a freekick which was hit by Huỳnh Thuy. Ha Giang were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Cheo Reo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Phùng Tu took the corner. The corner led Ha Giang's Phùng Tu to fire away a dangerous shot which Lê Loc despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Hoàng Huỳnh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ha Giang booed when Cheo Reo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Lan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cheo Reo's Nguyễn Hieu Ngan in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ha Giang's goalie prevented a goal.
