Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Phạm Liem got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Phạm Tong during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ba Ria's Phạm Tong got a free kick in the 4th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Phạm Liem in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lê Dung prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lê Nguyet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lê Dung having to interfere. Phạm Liem succeeded in the game's 13th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. In the 18th minute, Nguyễn Cuc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Hồ Bien charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hồ Bien the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Nam Dinh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hồ Bien to maneuver through the defense. Chung Hung's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Trần Duc firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 40th match minute, Ba Ria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lê Tuan to maneuver through the defense. Trần Duc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Cuc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Nguyễn Cuc made the kick off in the second half. Lê Nguyet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phạm Liem in the 59th minute of play forced Ba Ria's goalkeeper Lê Dung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lê Nguyet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Lê Dung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phạm Liem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 70 played minutes Ba Ria got a freekick which was hit by Lý Hung. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Lê Nguyet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nam Dinh's supporters rose to their feet, but Lê Nguyet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lê Dung breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lê Nguyet was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Phạm Liem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lê Dung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phạm Liem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Nam Dinh's Trần Loc got a free kick in the 84th minute. Trần Duc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chung Hung in the 85th minute of the match. Nguyễn Cuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Trần Duc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lê Nguyet got free with Lê Dung in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute, Lý Hung hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lê Nguyet in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lê Dung, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 94 minutes into the match, Nam Dinh's Phạm Liem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lê Dung narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nam Dinh were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
