Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nguyễn Duong got the match started through his kick off. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lizg's goalkeeper Trần Phuong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lâm Tho in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trần Phuong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nguyễn Huynh Duc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Duong, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Lâm Tho scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trần Phuong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Lê Phuc notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ha Giang's Nguyễn Huynh Duc. Nguyễn Huynh Duc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hoàng Huỳnh might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Trần Phuong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ha Giang's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hoàng Huỳnh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trần Phuong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lâm Tho in the 38th minute of play. Lê Phuc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 41 minutes into the match, Ha Giang's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Phuc came free, but Nguyễn Huynh Duc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Ha Giang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Hoang to maneuver through the defense. Hoàng Huỳnh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Phuong having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lâm Tho made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Hoàng Huỳnh made a precise shot to the right of Trần Phuong. Lizg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Hoàng Huỳnh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nguyễn Huynh Duc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Duong in the 72nd minute of the match. Nguyễn Duong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Huynh Duc having to interfere. In the 75th minute, one of Lizg:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lizg. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Ha Giang. Phùng Tu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Trần Phuong. 4-1. Lâm Tho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Phuong having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Ha Giang got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Hoang. In the 87th minute, Nguyễn Quang Thanh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nguyễn Duong charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Duong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lizg getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Nguyễn Duong hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lê Phuong got free with Nguyễn Huynh Duc in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lê Phuc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Nguyễn Huynh Duc made a huge save. Lê Phuc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Huynh Duc having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ha Giang fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lizg had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
