The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Lâm Tho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ha Giang's supporters rose to their feet, but Lâm Tho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tạ Anh Hung breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trần Hoang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Huynh Duc having to interfere.
