Trần Phuong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Hieu Ngan in the 4th minute of the match. Lê Loc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Duong in the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Cheo Reo's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Duong came free, but Lê Loc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nguyễn Duong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lê Loc having to interfere. Cheo Reo's Lê Loc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Cheo Reo from getting a goal against them. Lê Phuc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lê Loc having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Võ Chi in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trần Phuong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Lizg's Nguyễn Duong in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cheo Reo's goalie prevented a goal. Trần Phuong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Hieu Ngan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nguyễn Duong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Võ Chi sped through Lizg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Trần Phuong. Phan Than hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The Lizg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cheo Reo were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nguyễn Duong to make the kick off. Nguyễn Hieu Ngan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Huỳnh Thuy made a precise shot to the right of Trần Phuong. Lizg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Phan Than hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Duong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lizg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cheo Reo the free kick. In the 82nd minute, Nguyễn Duong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Lizg's goalkeeper Trần Phuong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Võ Chi. Lizg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Huỳnh Thuy scored to the left of an out of position Trần Phuong, making the score, 0-4. Võ Chi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Trần Phuong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cheo Reo played a much better game than Lizg and deserved their victory. The Lizg players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
