Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nguyễn Hung started the match with the kick off. Nguyễn Hung struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Đặng Minh Phượng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bac Kan. 9 minutes into the match, Lê Phu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bac Kan's Võ Hieu. Võ Hieu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Đặng Minh Phượng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Hung in the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Bac Kan's Nguyễn Than nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Đặng Minh Phượng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Đặng Minh Phượng made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Nguyễn Than sent off a good shot on target. If Nguyễn Chuong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bac Kan getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Nguyễn Hieu hit a great ball. Vũ Hanh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Võ Hieu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Chuong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 38 minutes, Nguyễn Chuong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Easup United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Chuong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute, Trần Tinh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lê Phu in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Võ Hieu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lê Phu was the one to do the kick off. Nguyễn Hung scored 3-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Đặng Minh Phượng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute, Lê Phu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nguyễn Hung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vũ Hanh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Võ Hieu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Easup United's Phạm Tho got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 68 played minutes, Bac Kan's Vũ Hoa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Đặng Minh Phượng came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bac Kan reached it. After having played for 70 minutes, Nguyễn Minh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bac Kan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Minh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nguyễn Chuong might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Võ Hieu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nguyễn Chuong ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Easup United booed when Bac Kan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Than didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lê Tran took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Võ Hieu. Bac Kan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Trần Tinh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Võ Hieu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Võ Hieu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Trần Tinh in the 87th minute. After 90 minutes of play, Bac Kan's Nguyễn Hung made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Đặng Minh Phượng was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bac Kan had won after a very even match.
