In the 13th minute, Phan Hanh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the game, Vũ Hanh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Easup United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quốc Vương the free kick. After 16 played minutes Easup United got a freekick which was hit by Vũ Hanh. Easup United's Đặng Minh Phượng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trần Pham in the 24th minute of play. Vũ Hanh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Phạm Lam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phan Quang Thanh charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Phan Quang Thanh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Easup United booed when Quốc Vương was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phan Quang Thanh didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes in the game, Lê Phu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Phạm Lam having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Vũ Hanh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vũ Hanh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phạm Lam having to interfere. Easup United's Lê Phu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nguyễn Lien to strike the kick off in the second half. Phạm Lam was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Trần Tinh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phạm Lam having to interfere. Phạm Lam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lê Phu, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The Easup United fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Easup United's Lê Phu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 69th minute, Nguyễn Chuong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Phạm Lam was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The Easup United fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Easup United's Lê Phu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Easup United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
