Seating: 1975, VIP seats: 120) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nguyễn Hung took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nguyễn Minh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Bronkala having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bac Kan's zone, Đặng Hong Minh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Võ Hieu came out of the goal and Đặng Hong Minh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bùi Anh Hung in the 15th minute of play forced Bac Kan's goalkeeper Võ Hieu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nguyễn Minh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Iwan Bronkala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bùi Anh Hung in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Võ Hieu saved Bac Kan from getting behind. Trần Hoang kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When Kim Lien's Nguyễn Than in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bac Kan's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th minute of the match Vũ Hoa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iwan Bronkala showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Iwan Bronkala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Hung in the 41st minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Kim Lien got a freekick which was hit by Lê Tuan.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bùi Anh Hung made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bùi Anh Hung in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Võ Hieu saved Bac Kan from getting behind. Bùi Anh Hung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Kim Lien. Phạm Lan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Võ Hieu. 1-0. Bac Kan's Võ Hieu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bùi Anh Hung in the 59th minute of play. Bac Kan's Nguyễn Hung got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bùi Anh Hung in the 63rd minute of play forced Bac Kan's goalkeeper Võ Hieu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Võ Hieu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bùi Anh Hung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nguyễn Minh's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Iwan Bronkala firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nguyễn Minh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Iwan Bronkala made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Đặng Hong Minh in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Võ Hieu saved Bac Kan from getting behind. In the 73rd match minute, Bac Kan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Huynh Duc to maneuver through the defense. Kim Lien made a substitution. Nguyễn Khoi replaced Nguyễn Than. Võ Hieu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bùi Anh Hung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nguyễn Hung recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 minutes, Nguyễn Hung mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bac Kan and the Kim Lien players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kim Lien booed when Bac Kan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Hung didn't get a good kick on the ball. Võ Hieu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bùi Anh Hung in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87thth minute of the game Bùi Anh Hung who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bac Kan's Võ Hieu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Trần Hoang hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Đặng Hong Minh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Võ Hieu having to interfere. Kim Lien's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
