Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nguyễn Hung started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nguyễn Ho in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Võ Hieu saved Bac Kan from getting behind. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Bac Kan. Vũ Hoa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Đặng Nga. 0-1. Nguyễn Ho struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Võ Hieu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thai Huu FC. Lê Hoang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Võ Hieu made a huge save. Thai Huu FC's Đặng Nga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Hung in the 18th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nguyễn Minh in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Đặng Nga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Bac Kan's Nguyễn Huynh Duc got a free kick in the 27th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Lê Hoang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thai Huu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lê Hoang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lê Hoang got free with Võ Hieu in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lê Hoang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Nguyễn Ho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Than hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 38 played minutes Thai Huu FC got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Ho. Lê Hoang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Võ Hieu made a huge save. Đặng Nga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Hung, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Nguyễn Minh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nguyễn Ho to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play Bac Kan's Nguyễn Than was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 56th match minute, Bac Kan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Than to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Lê Hoang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Võ Hieu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 65th minute, Lê Hoang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute, Vương Teo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Võ Hoa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Võ Hieu. Bac Kan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lê Hoang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Võ Hieu having to interfere. Nguyễn Hung charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Hung the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bac Kan getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Nguyễn Hung hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Thai Huu FC's Võ Hoa tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bac Kan's zone, Lê Hoang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Võ Hieu came out of the goal and Lê Hoang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lê Hoang in the 83rd minute of play forced Bac Kan's goalkeeper Võ Hieu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nguyễn Ho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nguyễn Minh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Đặng Nga having to interfere. With a little luck, Thai Huu FC's Đặng Nga got control of the ball when Nguyễn Minh tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Thai Huu FC's goalkeeper Đặng Nga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thai Huu FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bac Kan for a fine match.
