Iwan Bronkala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vũ Hanh, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Nguyễn Hoai kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When Trần Tinh came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Easup United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trần Tinh couldn't finish the play. Iwan Bronkala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Chuong in the 19th minute of the match. Nguyễn Than fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Đặng Minh Phượng having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Trần Tinh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Bronkala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Bùi Anh Hung kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Đặng Minh Phượng. That made the score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. Iwan Bronkala came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Easup United's Trần Tinh. But to his dismay, Trần Tinh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Easup United's zone, Nguyễn Than stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Đặng Minh Phượng came out of the goal and Nguyễn Than tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Đặng Minh Phượng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bùi Anh Hung in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Kim Lien's Nguyễn Than ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Đặng Minh Phượng. Đặng Minh Phượng yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. With an all-out effort, Kim Lien's Đặng Minh Phượng threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nguyễn Than, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bùi Anh Hung in the 45th minute of play forced Easup United's goalkeeper Đặng Minh Phượng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Đặng Minh Phượng made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Đặng Hong Minh sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bùi Anh Hung made a kick off. In the 56th minute Hoàng Than shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Đặng Minh Phượng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Đặng Minh Phượng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bùi Anh Hung in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Easup United's goal looked a bit too open when Bùi Anh Hung came free, but Đặng Minh Phượng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iwan Bronkala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vũ Hanh in the 60th minute of play. Đặng Minh Phượng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Than, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute.
