Spectators: 5939 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1939, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Trần Minh Phượng kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Quốc Vương's goalkeeper Phạm Lam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Trần Minh Phượng. In the 7th minute, Phan Quang Thanh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute Nguyễn Lien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phạm Diem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Lê Ho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RPT AK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Phạm Diem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Lien in the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, RPT AK's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Lien came free, but Phạm Diem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Trần Pham notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of RPT AK's Phạm Diem. Phạm Diem was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Trần Pham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phạm Diem having to interfere. In the 24th minute, RPT AK's Phan Huỳnh seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Phan Huỳnh the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of RPT AK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Phan Huỳnh had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of RPT AK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Quốc Vương:s goal. 27 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Phuoc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Phạm Diem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of RPT AK booed when Quốc Vương was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phan Quang Thanh didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes in the game Nguyễn Bien did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nguyễn Viet. Phạm Lam came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by RPT AK's Trần Minh Phượng. But to his dismay, Trần Minh Phượng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Phạm Diem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Viet in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Lien in the 45th minute of play forced RPT AK's goalkeeper Phạm Diem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nguyễn Lien to make the kick off. Văn Tấn Dũng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Phạm Lam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. RPT AK's Phạm Diem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phan Quang Thanh in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th match minute, RPT AK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Tuyet to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Nguyễn Phuoc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Hoàng Phuong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RPT AK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quốc Vương the free kick. Phan Quang Thanh charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Phan Quang Thanh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Quốc Vương's Phan Quang Thanh got a free kick in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trần Minh Phượng in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Phạm Lam saved Quốc Vương from getting behind. After 70 minutes, Nguyễn Tan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RPT AK and the Quốc Vương players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute Văn Tấn Dũng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phạm Lam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Văn Tấn Dũng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Phạm Lam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lê Minh got free with Phạm Diem in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 82 minutes, Trần Minh Phượng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RPT AK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trần Minh Phượng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Trần Minh Phượng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Phạm Lam was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 89th match minute, RPT AK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Tan to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Quốc Vương had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
