After 2 played minutes Dream League Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Chung Tuan Hoang. After 3 played minutes, Ba Ria Vung Tau FC's Vũ Ho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lê Hieu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ba Ria Vung Tau FC reached it. 4 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Quang Thanh cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lê Hieu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 14 played minutes Vũ Ho rounded Dream League Soccer's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Ba Ria Vung Tau FC's Lê Hoai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Đỗ Hoang in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Ba Ria Vung Tau FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chung Tuan Hoang came free, but Lê Hoai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Lê Hieu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ba Ria Vung Tau FC's Vũ Ho got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vũ Ho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. Ba Ria Vung Tau FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Vũ Ho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Chung Tuan Hoang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the last second Lê Hieu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Vũ Ho in the 39thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Ba Ria Vung Tau FC's zone, Đỗ Hoang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lê Hoai came out of the goal and Đỗ Hoang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Đỗ Hoang made the kick off in the second half. When Ba Ria Vung Tau FC's Vũ Ho in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 59th minute, Nguyễn Quang Thanh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lê Hieu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vũ Ho in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Ba Ria Vung Tau FC's goalkeeper Lê Hoai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chung Tuan Hoang. Lê Hieu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Quang Thanh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Vũ Ho sped through Dream League Soccer's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lê Hieu. In the 81st minute, Nguyễn Quang Thanh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ba Ria Vung Tau FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Lê Hieu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vũ Ho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
