The referee ignored Dream League Soccer's protests and gave Trần Bay a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Dream League Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trần Bay to maneuver through the defense. Dream League Soccer's Lê Hieu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Dung in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Đỗ Hoang in the 8th minute of play forced HoangNamFc's goalkeeper Phan Liem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Đỗ Tan charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Đỗ Tan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, one of HoangNamFc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for HoangNamFc. When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, Dream League Soccer's Trần Cuc got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Phan Liem. 20 minutes into the game, HoangNamFc's Ngô Van Tai Em nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lê Hieu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. HoangNamFc's Phan Liem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save HoangNamFc from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lê Thien in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lê Hieu saved Dream League Soccer from getting behind. Đỗ Hoang struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Phan Liem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dream League Soccer. Nguyễn Dung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lê Hieu having to interfere. Lê Hieu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Dung in the 36th minute of the match. When Nguyễn Dung came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the HoangNamFc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nguyễn Dung couldn't finish the play. If Nguyễn Dung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Lê Thien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. After 66 played minutes Dream League Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Trần Bay. A hard shot by Lê Minh from long distance, 67 minutes into the match, got Lê Hieu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Huỳnh Phuong hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Lê Thien managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HoangNamFc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lê Thien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lê Thien's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lê Hieu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Lê Hieu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lê Thien's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Nguyễn Dung charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. One of Dream League Soccer:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of HoangNamFc:s goal. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Lê Thien put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Lê Hieu. Lê Thien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded HoangNamFc left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dream League Soccer.
