After a defensive mix-up in Eagle King Club's zone, Nguyễn Khoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antoni Banas came out of the goal and Nguyễn Khoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nguyễn Khoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Antoni Banas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antoni Banas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Khoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phan Dung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Nguyễn Khoi made a precise shot to the right of Antoni Banas. Eagle King Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. If Roberto Katia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Roberto Katia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hoàng Phuc. The goal made the score 5-1. The supporters of Dien Bien booed when Eagle King Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trần Cong Vinh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eagle King Club's Antoni Banas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phan Dung in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Dien Bien was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phan Van Tai Em to maneuver through the defense. Dien Bien's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
